Delightfully swirls the matcha and vanilla to make an irresistible frozen yogurt bark.

Swirl Bark

  • 200g Greek yogurt
  • 200g dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 handful freshly cut strawberries

Method

  1. Divide the Greek yogurt evenly between two bowls, approximately 100g each.
  2. In one bowl, add vanilla extract and 1 tbsp of maple syrup to the Greek yogurt. Stir well to combine.
  3. In the other bowl, sieve matcha powder over the Greek yogurt, then add 1 tbsp of maple syrup. Stir well to combine until the matcha yogurt is smooth.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Spoon dollops of the vanilla yogurt and the matcha yogurt alternately onto the parchment paper, creating a checkerboard pattern.
  6. Use a chopstick or a skewer to swirl the dollops together, creating a marbled effect.
  7. Scatter the freshly cut strawberries over the surface of the yogurt mixture.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
  9. Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to slightly soften.
  10. Use a sharp knife to cut the bark into pieces of your desired size. Serve immediately and enjoy your beautiful Matcha Froyo Swirl Bark!
You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment. This refreshing treat is perfect for hot summer days!
