Lemon Matcha Elixir


  • 1 whole lemon (choose organic and unwaxed)
  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger
  • 500 ml water
  • 2TBSP extra virgin olive oil
  • 2TBSP honey (or maple syrup for VG)


  1. Combine in a blender the whole lemon cut in 4, the ginger, the water, the olive oil and honey, for better result sieve the matcha over, blend on high speed for a few minutes.
  2. Using a sieve strain the elixir and pour it in a glass.
Creamy and refreshing drink to be enjoyed all year long. As you will use the whole lemon, choosing organic and unwaxed is important, I would also use a filtered water and why not manuka honey if you have some.
