Matcha and Berries Pavlova
Pavlova is an elegant dessert made with a crisp meringue layer filled with whipped cream and fresh fruit. In this recipe, I chose to use a beautiful raspberry meringue and replaced the whipped cream with a non-dairy yogurt whipped with matcha. This dessert is as beautiful as it is easy, perfect for last-minute entertainment.
Ingredients
- 4 meringue nests
- 400g coconut yogurt
- 1 tbsp matcha culinary powder
- Handful of berries: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
Method
- Whisk the coconut yogurt firmly.
- Sieve the matcha above the yogurt and whisk again.
- Fill each meringue nest with the matcha yogurt.
- Top with the berries and sprinkle with some desiccated coconut.
Easy to make, you can use your preferred yogurt and add any freshly cut fruits you like.
