Matcha White Chocolate

This delightful beverage combines the richness of white chocolate with the unique flavour of matcha, creating a delicious and comforting drink. Feel free to adjust the quantities of milk, white chocolate, or matcha to suit your taste preference.


  • 130ml milk of your choice
  • 20 grams white chocolate
  • 40ml hot water (at 85°C)
  • 1 teaspoon superior matcha powder
  • Grated white chocolate for garnish


  1. Prepare the white chocolate milk: Heat the 130ml of milk in a saucepan until it’s hot but not boiling. Add 20 grams of white chocolate to the hot milk and stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is well combined.
  2. Make the matcha shot: Sift 1 teaspoon of matcha into a bowl. Add 40ml of hot water (at 85°C) to the matcha powder. Using a bamboo whisk, vigorously whisk the matcha and water mixture until it becomes smooth and frothy.
  3. Assemble the matcha white chocolate: Pour the prepared white chocolate milk into a serving glass or cup. Carefully pour the matcha shot over the white chocolate milk, allowing the layers to form naturally.
  4. Garnish: Optionally sprinkle grated white chocolate on top for added flavor and decoration.
  5. Serve immediately: Enjoy your Matcha White Chocolate while it’s still warm, savoring the combination of creamy white chocolate and the earthy notes of matcha.
